In principle, gifts sent in ZEPETO cannot be canceled or refunded.
However, in exceptional cases (e.g., if a creator’s item sent as a gift is discontinued), refunds may be processed. To provide a better gifting experience, we have improved the gift refund procedure. As a result, the responsibility for gift refunds will be changed as follows:

- Before: Sender of the gift
- After: Recipient of the gift

- Date: Friday, September 27, 2024
Important Notes
- This change applies to exceptional cases (e.g., if a creator’s item sent as a gift is discontinued).
- After a gift is completed, ownership is transferred to the recipient, so the refund will also be processed based on the recipient.
- If the gift is rejected, it will be treated as if the recipient expressed refusal, and the refund will be made to the sender.
- The existing gift policy remains the same, meaning the gift will be automatically accepted 10 days after sending, even if the recipient does not click the accept button.
