ZEPETO respects our users' right to control their personal information. In accordance with relevant laws and platform policies, we respond to "Data Deletion Requests" initiated by users through their Facebook (Meta) settings.
However, please be aware that requesting data deletion via an external platform (Facebook) will disconnect your ZEPETO account, which may result in restricted access to our services. Please review the following details carefully:
1. Target Users
Users who have manually requested the deletion of ZEPETO data through the 'Apps and Websites' menu within Facebook (Meta) settings.
2. Key Changes & Notes
- If you use ZEPETO only through Facebook login, you will lose the ability to log back into your account once it is disconnected.
- ZEPETO is not responsible for any loss of accounts or data resulting from data deletion requests made directly through external platform settings.
3. How to keep your account? (Recommended)
To preserve your account information and continue using the service, please add an additional login method before disconnecting:
- Add an email: [Settings] → [My Account] → Email
- Add a phone number: [Settings] → [My Account] → Phone number
4. Disconnection and Processing Schedule
- Requests are processed sequentially as they are received from Facebook (Meta). Data will be permanently destroyed after a grace period of approximately 3 months from the request date.
For secure account management, we strongly recommend linking an additional login method (such as an email) or carefully considering your decision before requesting data deletion.
