ZEPETO’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines prohibit creating, posting, sharing, or transmitting any content infringes someone else’s copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

You should only create, post, and share content on ZEPETO that you own, or that you otherwise have rights to or are authorized to create, post, and share on ZEPETO. Rights holders may request that ZEPETO remove unauthorized contents. Contents that infringe copyrighted content of others may be removed and persistent violations of our policies may result in a permanent suspension of the account. If multiple copyright complaints are received about an account, or other evidence suggests a pattern of repeat infringement, ZEPETO may suspend that account in accordance with our policies.
We encourage you to assess your content for adherence to applicable intellectual property laws before posting your content on ZEPETO. Some examples of contents you should not create, share, or post on ZEPETO without authorized permission from the rights holders include, but not limited to:
- Content that violates or infringes on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of others
- Acts of creating, posting, or transmitting copyrighted content such as image, video, items etc. without proper authorization from the copyright holder.
- Copying and distributing other people's contents (including posts, items, music, video, image) without the permission of the original creator
- Content that promotes illegal copying of items, images, broadcasts, videos, sound sources, world/games, and software sold for a fee, or provides an illegal download link
- Posts that share bugs or hacking programs that neutralize the technical protection measures of the right holder
Copyright Infringement Notification
Copyright holders have the right to prohibit others from copying or distributing the original creation. As a copyright owner, you may file a Copyright Infringement Report to request removal of the infringing content from ZEPETO platform - please complete the report form and attach the file when submitting the request. Failure to include necessary information may limit our ability to investigate your claims and may result in your complaint being denied. Prior to submitting a copyright infringement report to ZEPETO, directly communicating with the user may result in a prompt resolution of your complaint.
It is important to know that only the owner of the intellectual property rights or their designated representative may file a copyright violation report. Please note that if you believe contents on ZEPETO infringes someone else’s intellectual property, you may directly inform the rights owner.
ZEPETO may provide your contact information to the person who posted the content that you are reporting as well as the details of the complaint. If you are concerned about your contact information being shared, you may prefer to provide your business or professional contact info or wish to appoint an agent to report for you.
Submitting a report of intellectual property infringement is a serious matter with potential legal consequences. Intentionally submitting fraudulent or misleading reports of copyright or trademark infringement may lead to liability for damages under section 512(f) of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or similar laws as may be applicable in other countries as well as ZEPETO taking action, including termination of your account.
ZEPETO is not in a position to arbitrate, mediate and resolve disputes between third parties, and may not be able to remove the content or suspend the account you reported.
Counter Notification
ZEPETO accepts counter notification for copyright infringement reports. If you receive a notification of infringement and have a good faith belief that you are authorized to use the content or the notification is a result of misidentification or mistake, you may submit the counter notification to ZEPETO via our Counter Notification Form - please complete the notification form and attach the file when submitting the request. Failure to include necessary information may limit our ability to investigate your claims and may result in your counter-notification being denied.
Please note that, when ZEPETO receive a counter notice, we will provide the entire counter-notification to the original reporter, including any contact information you provide. We encourage you to consult with a legal professional if you are not sure to file a counter notification.
Trademark
